Laurie and Jeff's Wedding-September, 2008

The whole Ruphard and Delaney family attended Laurie and Jeff's Wedding in Nashville, TN. back in the end of September. It was a very Beautiful Ceremony and fun wedding reception. Chris and I were in the wedding party along with Ella being one of the flower girls. Ella walked down the aisle holding mine and Daddy's hand. It was so precious. Ella was wearing a beautiful dress and fancy shoes along with a cute bow/barrette in her hair. Aunt Laurie picked a great dress for her to wear. It was a long day for Ella but she hung in there partying til the end of the reception. Mommy and Daddy was exhausted too! It was great seeing all of Chris's family as it has been so long, I think since our wedding. It was a great trip to Nashville to see Laurie and Jeff be married. We're so glad we were a part of their special day.

Ella's first Halloween Party-October, 2008

Ella and I went to a Fall/Halloween party two weeks ago that the mom's group had. It was Ella's first time at a Halloween party as well as getting dressed up in a costume. Ella had a lot of fun with the other kids, there was many activities to do. Ella really like it when I blew bubbles. She thought that was neat. Ella and I also decorated a sugar cookie with lots of frosting and sprinkles on it. It was Ella's first sugar cookie-she liked the sprinkles. Ella also tried to hula hoop, but it was a tad too difficult as it was too big for her. Not before long she will be hula hooping. It was a great party and so much fun. I enjoyed dressing Ella up in her ladybug costume that gandma( that is how we pronounce her name) Ruphard got for her. Chris and I will be taking Ella trick or treating this Friday on Halloween-it's going to be so fun.

Ella's First Birthday Party

Chris and I threw Ella her first Birthday party. It was so much fun and so memorable. We invited many of our friends and also Chris's parents-Gandma and Papa Ruphard along with Papaw Ruphard(Ella's great grandpa). Jen's family was unable to come, but they'll be visiting us this month. We had a very nice barbecue along with many good side dishes. When Ella and I opened her gifts on the backyard of our lawn, it was so much fun to see her interacting with the wrapping paper toys and, etc. I think she was more interested in the wrapping paper than her gifts. When it was time to blow out her "One" candle it made music that gandma Ruphard got for us-very neat! We sang Happy Birthday to her, and she didn't even get scared like Daddy and I thought she would. She loved it. We gave Ella her very first piece of cake to eat and she dug right in. Here are some photos of her Birthday party.
